The main goal of this meeting is education and outreach to community based physicians and other health care professionals working with glomerular disease patients. Providing education on the care of Glomerular disease patients gives nephrologists the ability to better communicate with primary care physicians about how to manage, treat, and refer this patient population to nephrologists in a timely manner. The GDCN meeting provides an outlet for investigators to discuss and brainstorm research endeavors and present current trends in research/clinical trials.
