- Describe the factors and social determinants of health associated with determining the severity of COPD (Williams)
- Identify a stepwise approach to recommending pharmacotherapy for a patient with COPD (Williams)
- Review evidence and current recommendations for the use of kidney protective agents in persons with diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).(Schumacher)
- State the proposed rationale for the nephroprotective effects of SGLT2 inhibitors. (Schumacher)
- Select an individualized therapy plan, including lifestyle modifications and pharmacotherapy, for a person with diabetes and CKD.(Schumacher)
- Identify an appropriate monitoring plan to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pharmacotherapy in the progression of CKD.(Schumacher)
- Describe key recommendations and recent updates in national guidelines regarding the care of persons with heart failure (Landup).
- Select an individualized therapy plan, including lifestyle modifications and pharmacotherapy for a person with heart failure.(Landup)

Identify appropriate initiation and monitoring with SGLT-2 inhibitors in persons with HFrEF. (Landup)
- Discuss social determinants of health and their impact on the management of heart failure. (Landup)
- Recall how the endocannabinoid system interacts with other human body systems.(Nagy)
- Differentiate between CBD, Delta-8, Delta-9 and THC-O (Nagy)
- Describe racial disparities existing in cannabis use with legalization.(Nagy)
- Explain the concept of lag time to benefit and its utility in determining the appropriateness of bisphosphonate therapy and intensive blood pressure lowering in older adults. (Woodall)
- Define the role of lecanemab and other anti-amyloid therapies in treatment of dementia. (Woodall)
- Identify first- and second-line medications recommended for pharmacologic treatment of restless legs syndrome (per the updated RLS Foundation guidelines). (Woodall)
- Describe the impact of ageism and its intersection with other forms of bias on health outcomes. (Woodall)
- Discuss elements of Drug Addiction and Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000) and its status as of June 2023 (Martin)
- State properties of buprenorphine that make it a reasonable choice for treating opioid use disorder (OUD) (Martin)
- Discuss current state of substance use disorder (SUD) and site specific risk factors and areas of greatest need and • state current trend in overdose rates among historically marginalized populations (HMP and discuss importance of internal bias and how it impacts access to care for SUD (Martin)
