Leaders/managers/supervisors/team leads, IT professionals, health/human service professionals, anyone aspiring to develop critical leadership skills needed at every level.
In our culture, failure is often something to be avoided - something to “put behind us,” make excuses for, forget about and never do again, right? Our facilitator, Tom Cooper recalls getting fired twice from volunteer positions, oversleeping and missing a ride to a funeral where he was a pall bearer, yelling at the company president because she didn’t appreciate his contributions enough, tearing the mirror of his car while backing into the garage, and much more. All things he’d initially prefer to never have brought up again.
But what if failure was not something to feel ashamed of? What if it was something that could take you further, faster than you’ve ever gone before? John Maxwell says “It’s easier to go from failure to success than from excuses to success.” In this workshop you will discover a way of leveraging your failures and missteps as tools to your learning and achievement. You’ll leave with a set of tools to help you gain the most from those experiences so that you can be smarter, faster and achieve more in your career - because Sometimes You Win, Sometimes you Learn!
