Healthcare professionals who work with, or may have the potential to work with, LGBTQ clients and their families. This may include physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, counselors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, or any other interested healthcare professional.
The goal of the 2017 LGBTQ Healthcare Symposium is to provide an interactive educational experience and dialogue between the healthcare community and experts in LGBTQ healthcare that will increase knowledge about the culture of our LGBTQ patients, the unique healthcare issues of LGBTQ patients and how to work with LGBTQ patients.
There will be two tracks available for healthcare providers to choose from with different focused topics for breakout sessions.
