What if, instead of spending time on dealing with conflict, you could empower people in your team to have productive conflict? Would that benefit your organization?
Conflict is one of the most stressful, uncomfortable, and inevitable experiences people face in the workplace. It may be influenced by organizational culture or hierarchy, working styles and everyday human relationships. And what’s the cost? According to the Washington Business Journal the typical manager spends 25 - 40% of his or her time dealing with workplace conflict. That’s 1-2 days every workweek! What if, instead of spending all that time on dealing with conflict, you could empower people in your organization to have productive conflict? Would that benefit your organization?
Unlike Conflict Resolution, which is a process that doesn’t consider the individuals, healthy and productive conflict is a personalized approach that looks at the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This one-day retreat will teach you individually or along with your team, skills and tools to recognize the conflict triggers and how to react differently. You will learn how to work with conflict by viewing it as a signal for change instead of it being bad or wrong.
An extra feature to this interactive program includes an individual Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict Profile. Each participant will take the Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict assessment and receive an in-depth, highly personalized 22-page report that highlights techniques to improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors to build better relationships and have more productive conversations. As a bonus, if you attend with more than one team member, you will receive a free at-a-glance view of their individual Everything DiSC® Team View map. and Everything DiSC® Comparison Report Ideal for individual coaching or small group work. Insightful and robust 10-page research-validated reports can be created for any two participants. Reports illustrate their similarities and differences, potential roadblocks in working together, and practical tips for improving working relationships between colleagues.
