Leaders, managers, supervisors, team leads, health/human service professionals, anyone aspiring to develop critical leadership skills needed at every level.
Learn the key behavior dynamics for improved team performance to drive safety, quality, and patient experience to the highest levels.
Teamwork has been studied extensively over the past 20 years. Research suggests teamwork is defined by a set of integrated knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) that facilitate integrated, coordinated, adaptive performance where teammates support each other to fulfill the immediate goals and objectives of their units and further achieve the strategic objectives of the overall organization. Team training involves teaching health care personnel a set of techniques developed to improve team communication, team coordination, and team unity. These techniques are especially useful for health care professionals who work closely as a team in high-stress situations. Using a computer simulation training module and video case studies, participants will learn the key behavior dynamics for improved team performance to drive safety, quality, and patient experience to the highest levels.
