This event is jointly provided by Charlotte Area Health Education Center and Atrium Health Corporate Risk Management Department.

We are pleased to invite the Atrium Health Risk Managers to the 2022 Annual Risk Manager Seminar. This year, the focus of the seminar will be on tracking trends and ways to enhance, strengthen, and refine skills we use daily to improve patient safety and protect the assets of Atrium Health

The health care risk environment is constantly changing and producing new challenges in managing risk to the organization. Professional development and maintaining current practice standards are essential for a proactive healthcare Risk Manager and Risk Management Program. To assist us in developing upon these key practice standards, we have three experts presenting during this virtual program.

Learner Outcome
Participants will strengthen and build on their knowledge base for their role as Atrium Health Risk Managers. By the end of this seminar, participants will have enhanced knowledge of current trends in the risk management landscape, including remote patient monitoring and the potential risk and liability exposures these can present, and the impact risk managers can have upon litigation.

The Charlotte Area Health Education Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
A participant is required to attend a minimum of 90% of the program in order to receive a full credit for this event.
