Objectives

Describe two practice-changing developments in a subspecialty of anatomic or clinical pathology relevant to the participant.
List at least three new technology advances relevant to medical laboratory professionals.
Discuss the meaning of FDA enforcement discretion on laboratory developed test and how the end of this practice might affect the clinical laboratory.
Identify two important workforce issues that are affecting clinical laboratory staffing and list strategies to mitigate against them.
