Description

Understanding the health disparities that disproportionately impact women and especially women of color is key to achieving a healthy and thriving community. In this session we will explore the various disparities that exist for individuals and groups of women. Through interactive activities we will gain understanding of the influence of lived experience and social factors on health outcomes for women. Lastly we will discuss ways to address these disparities to meet the unique needs of diverse groups of women.
