Keeping and retaining an engaged workforce is not a new challenge. Yet, in a decade where the pace of change, of healthcare, and of business in general seem to keep speeding up, it’s harder than ever. Every part of our professional lives feels pushed to the limits. In truth, the industry is exhausted.
Through this session, leaders will learn the underlying causes of burnout, and why it’s more serious than something a nap or a few days off will fix. They will be able to address both the symptoms and causes of burnout, which need attention and intention, but not a great big budget.
Leaders will identify tactics and processes to support their teams. They will be able to integrate and balance the needs of the organization with the emotional, physical, and intellectual state of their teams. Leaders will walk away with renewed energy to continue the important work that they and their teams perform every day.
