Description

This two-day hybrid course is designed to provide the practicing case manager with information to assist them in preparing for the case management certification exam. While it focuses primarily on content for the Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential, it also serves as preparation for the ANCC or ACM certifications, as well as a basics course in case management. The course content follows the CCM exam content areas and incorporates feedback received from surveys of course participants after they took the certification exam. The course includes over 170 sample questions to guide participants in self-assessment for independent study in any particular area, while also allowing practice with multiple choice questions. A 300 page course syllabus is provided for course participants, which includes content covered in the course as well as resource materials for further self-study.

This program is jointly provided by South Piedmont AHEC and Southern Regional AHEC.
