The South Piedmont Regional Workforce in Motion Collaborative is a strategic initiative led by the Health Talent Alliance (HTA), in partnership with the NC Center on the Workforce for Health, the NC Chamber Foundation, and Regional AHEC Centers.
The goal of the Collaborative is to address the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the South Piedmont Region by aligning regional resources and expertise to strengthen the health workforce pipeline.
Employers, educators, and key stakeholders across the region are working together to develop solutions and share resources that support a well-trained, future-ready workforce. This collaborative effort transforms a statewide workforce crisis into actionable strategies tailored to the needs of our eight-county region: Anson, Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Stanly, and Union.
We invite partners who are committed to building a resilient healthcare workforce to join us in this important work.
