Objectives

  • Identify normal fetal anatomy and biometry to perform accurate ultrasound measurements and assess fetal growth
  • Analyze ultrasound findings of fetal anomalies involving the cardiac, central nervous system, gastrointestinal and renal systems and formulate a differential diagnosis.
  • Assess ultrasound findings of abnormal gynecologic anatomy, including uterine leiomyoma, adenomyosis, endometriosis, and cesarean scar niche.
  • Evaluate ultrasound findings of adnexal masses and use appropriate risk stratification systems.
  • Develop proficiency in sonographic techniques for early pregnancy evaluation
  • Apply standardized terminology and lexicon in ultrasound reporting and communication.
