Join us for the second session in our trauma-informed training series, Resilience Rising Series: Harnessing Hope to Uplift Communities.
Session 2: Sustaining a Community of Safety and Healing
This session explores how communities can move beyond crisis response to create sustainable systems of safety and healing. Through a dynamic panel discussion with local leaders, participants will gain insights into strategies that foster resilience, promote mental well-being, and strengthen collaborative networks. The conversation will highlight practical approaches for creating supportive environments, driving community-level changes in mental health, and leveraging cross-sector partnerships for long-term impact.
Participants will leave this session with:
• A deeper understanding of how safety and healing frameworks can be integrated into community initiatives.
• Practical examples of collaborative approaches that address systemic challenges and promote mental health equity.
• Actionable ideas for building partnerships across health, education, justice, and community organizations to sustain resilience efforts.
• This session will equip participants with both foundational knowledge and actionable tools to begin integrating trauma-informed practices into a variety of professional settings.
