This course is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other healthcare professionals.
The Summit will convene multidisciplinary public health professionals, community leaders and organizations, healthcare providers and advocates to explore innovative strategies that drive progress toward ending the HIV and syphilis epidemics. Anchored on the themes of innovation, empowerment and engagement, this year's summit will highlight cutting-edge approaches to prevention, testing and treatment, while celebrating the resilience and leadership of the communities most impacted.
This Summit is funded by Mecklenburg County Public Health, in collaboration with NC. Department of Health and Human Services and UNC Charlotte and jointly provided by South Piedmont Area Health Education Center. This program is offered FREE OF CHARGE. However, REGISTRATION is REQUIRED.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 6.75 general continuing education credits.

Advocate Health has been authorized by the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.
