Target Audience

Any high school student that is preparing to complete college applications.

Description

This interactive workshop guides high school students through the essential steps of creating a strong, impactful college résumé. Through activities and real-world examples, participants learn how to effectively highlight their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, volunteer work, and personal skills. The session breaks down what admissions officers look for and teaches students how to present their experiences with clarity and confidence. Instructors provide tips on formatting, choosing powerful action verbs, and tailoring content for different applications. Students will also gain insight into common mistakes to avoid. By the end of the workshop, each participant will know how to create a polished, well-organized résumé that reflects their strengths and goals, as well as the tools to update it as they continue to grow. This workshop empowers students to present themselves professionally and stand out in the college admissions process.
