What is TF-CBT
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a nationally recognized, research-driven treatment proven to help children and adolescents overcome trauma-related emotional and behavioral challenges. This approach equips therapists with tools to support both youth and caregivers in building resilience and restoring hope.
TF-CBT Requirements
The TF-CBT certification is for licensed therapists in the state of North Carolina. Individuals must hold a license (full or provisional) in good standing from a licensing board (NC Social Work Board, NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, etc).

Who Should Attend?
All mental health clinicians providing direct service for youth and families in Mecklenburg County who are interested in becoming TF-CBT certified are welcome to attend.
