Target Audience

Social workers, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, educators, school personnel, mental health professionals, clinicians, health and human service practitioners, and other health care professionals.

Description

This training session is designed for professionals who work with tweens and teens (ages 9-18). The session will explore the unique developmental, emotional, and cognitive changes that occur during the tween years, emphasizing the importance of understanding and connecting with tweens and teens to support their growth effectively. Participants will learn about the rapid brain growth occurring during this stage, the social and emotional challenges tweens and teens face, and strategies for effective communication and relationship-building. The session aims to equip attendees with practical tools and insights to enhance their interactions with tweens, promoting their healthy development in a supportive and understanding environment.
