This training focuses on understanding and addressing Childhood Traumatic Grief. This specialized form of grief occurs when a child loses a loved one, typically a parent or sibling, under traumatic circumstances such as an accident, homicide, or disaster. The training will explore the complex interplay between trauma and grief, highlighting how traumatic experiences can exacerbate the grieving process in children. Participants will learn to identify symptoms and reactions specific to CTG and gain practical tools for treatment. Through case studies, group discussions, and evidence-based techniques, attendees will be equipped to support children navigating the challenging journey of traumatic grief.
