Description

Perimenopause and menopause are natural life stages that bring significant hormonal and physical changes for our patients. These transitions are often accompanied by distressing symptoms such as vasomotor instability, mood changes, sleep disturbances, and genitourinary concerns which can significantly impact quality of life. Despite their prevalence, these conditions are frequently under-recognized and inadequately managed.

Pharmacists play a vital role in supporting patients through the transitions of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. This continuing education program provides a comprehensive overview of hormonal changes, symptom presentation, and treatment options. Participants will explore both pharmacological and non-pharmacological management strategies, lifestyle interventions, and safe supplement use. Designed to enhance clinical confidence and patient counseling skills, this program empowers pharmacists to deliver evidence-based, individualized care throughout the menopausal transition.
