Target Audience

This course is intended for physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, counselors, and other health professionals and community members.

Description

Join other healthcare professionals and community members to explore how challenges can drive innovation, resilience, and advocacy in LGBTQ+ healthcare. Participants will examine health inequities, discuss the potential impact of emerging legislation on care delivery, and share practical strategies for promoting accessible, inclusive, and compassionate care. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, attendees will strengthen partnerships and build the collective capacity needed to advance health equity and improve outcomes for LGBTQ+ patients.

LEARNER OUTCOME
As a result of this educational activity, participants will report increased knowledge related to LGBTQ+ healthcare and identify at least one strategy they plan to implement in practice to promote equitable and affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals.
