Pre-Conference Tracks
The Meck Design Pre-Conference will feature three focused tracks designed to meet community partners where they are and support meaningful collaboration across sectors:
Faith-Based Community Track
This track is focused on empowering churches, faith leaders, spiritual organizations, and those who work closely with faith-based communities by providing tools and strategies to strengthen community health, collaboration, and outreach.
Capacity Building Institute Track
Designed for local nonprofits, grassroots organizations, and community partners, this track supports participants in strengthening organizational effectiveness, leadership strategies, and program development aligned with the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).
Latino Community Track
This interactive track brings together Latino and Hispanic leaders to map the landscape—who is at the table, the work being done, and existing capacity—while identifying shared priorities. Participants will engage in a focused data deep dive to explore key health trends and disparities, identify opportunities for collaboration, and align around data-informed priorities and actionable next steps to advance community health together.
Pre-Conference Objectives:
• Engage in discussions that explore the unique contributions and perspectives of diverse community groups represented in the breakout tracks, including faith based partners, nonprofit organizations, and Latino community leaders.
• Examine how different sectors and communities play a meaningful role in advancing community health through collaboration, outreach, organizational capacity, and culturally responsive approaches.
• Analyze shared community health needs, challenges, disparities, and assets by drawing on data, lived experience, and professional or organizational insight.
