Train Up a Child, But First Train Yourself

“Train Up a Child, But First Train Yourself” invites parents, mentors, and community leaders to reflect on how their own mental health, emotional patterns, and lived experiences influence the young people they guide and support. This training emphasizes the importance of self awareness and emotional wellness as essential foundations for healthy leadership and parenting. Participants will explore how unresolved wounds, unspoken trauma, and emotional habits can shape behavior and relationships, and will learn strategies to cultivate emotional maturity, self regulation, and healthier modeling for the next generation.
