Target Audience

Beginners or mixed-experience clinical teams; healthcare professionals across disciplines; quality, safety, and administrative staff; and anyone interested in building practical Quality Improvement skills to enhance outcomes and processes in their work setting.

Description

Build the foundation for successful Quality Improvement work by developing practical skills, essential knowledge, and the confidence to contribute to or lead small-scale healthcare improvement projects.

Join us as we build a shared understanding of Quality Improvement, strengthen problem-solving skills, and learn practical approaches to creating positive change in healthcare.

Objectives

  • Define quality improvement and distinguish it from research, audit, and performance review.
  • Describe the six dimensions of healthcare quality and explain why they matter
  • Explain the concept of systems thinking and how system design influences outcomes.
  • Identify at least one system-level problem in your work environment.
