The Sources of Strength Key Coordinator Training is designed to equip school and community-based coordinators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to effectively organize, implement, and sustain a successful Sources of Strength program. Participants will deepen their understanding of the implementation cycle, strengthen their ability to recruit and support Adult Advisors and Peer Leaders, and learn practical strategies for managing campaigns, messaging, and team organization. The training emphasizes sustainability, planning, and the creation of systems that strengthen long-term program impact while reducing the implementation burden on individual staff members.

*Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma (ReCAST II) is a program within the Mecklenburg County Department of Public Health. ReCAST II is a 4-year SAMHSA funded program. Its goal is to create a more resilient Mecklenburg County by supporting trauma-informed care in the roots of the community, increasing access to quality mental health care, and supporting the work of community violence prevention.
