Target Audience

This conference is designed for internists, family physicians, generalists, advanced practice providers and other health care providers working in an adult primary care setting.

Description

This meeting will update attendees on the recent developments in health promotion and disease management for conditions commonly encountered in primary care, including:

  • Point of care ultrasound to improve management of common conditions
  • Vaccines for respiratory infections
  • Management of Helicobacter pylori
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Osteoporosis
  • Gender-affirming care

    Conference Location & Format
    In-person location: The William and Ida Friday Center, 100 Friday Center Drive, Chapel Hill, NC
    The conference offers a hybrid format with a choice of in-person or webinar.

    Registration Options
    This year, participants have the flexibility to switch between attending in-person and webinar sessions. PLEASE NOTE this option to switch is applicable ONLY for those who choose the "in-person" registration fee.
    Registration fees:
  • Full Conference - $500** (in-person) / $450 (webinar)
  • 2-Day Thursday and Friday - $325** (in-person) / $300 (webinar)
  • Single Day - $150 (Option to switch format is not available)
    ** Attendee may switch between in-person/webinar but must pay in-person fee.

    Accreditation Statement
    This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Atrium Health and The School of Medicine of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.     AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
