Effective leaders know that one size doesn't fit all. This session introduces the core principles of adaptive leadership and guides participants in understanding when and how to apply different leadership styles—including transformational, transactional, servant, and adaptive. Through real-world scenarios, participants will learn to evaluate team dynamics and organizational challenges to determine the most effective leadership approach for each situation. Ideal for leaders at all levels, this class builds the flexibility and insight needed to lead with purpose and impact.
As part of the Leadership at Lunch series, this session is designed for busy healthcare workers and leaders looking to grow their influence without disrupting their daily responsibilities. Held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, it’s an affordable and accessible opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills in a convenient format.

Dr. Lisa M. Foster, DNP, RN, NPD-BC
Dr. Lisa Foster brings over 38 years of frontline healthcare experience and more than two decades teaching professionals across a variety of clinical and educational settings. She earned a Diploma from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, a BSN from Winston Salem State University, and both a Master’s in Nursing (Education) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University. In her classes, Dr. Foster blends practical insights with proven strategies to help all healthcare professionals excel in an ever-evolving environment.
