To receive CE credit, you must complete the CE attendance form and the evaluation of the program. Statement of credit can be viewed and printed in CPE Monitor.   • KENNEDY: Understand the role of the pharmacist in managing toxicities with bispecific therapies
  • KENNEDY: Describe toxicities with immunotherapies and how to manage them
  • KENNEDY: Discuss the difference between hazardous medications and handling
  • KENNEDY: Review new oncology therapeutic categories (e.g. gene therapy)
  • ANDERSON: Define Cardiovascular Kidney Metabolic (CKM) Syndrome
  • ANDERSON: Describe the link between social determinants of health (SDoH) and CKM Syndrome
  • ANDERSON: Identify evidence-based pharmacotherapy that reduces cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic risk in CKM Syndrome
  • ANDERSON: Construct an evidence-based care plan to treat patients with CKM and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
  • NAGY: Describe the pharmacology of cannabis, including major cannabinoids and their mechanisms of action
  • NAGY: Differentiate between various cannabis product formulations and their clinical implications
  • NAGY: Assess federal and state regulatory requirements and integrate compliance considerations into patient care decisions
  • SCOTT: Provide an update about hormonal contraceptives and the CDC Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use
  • SCOTT: Discuss the uptake of pharmacist-prescribed hormonal contraception across North Carolina
  • SCOTT: Discuss workflows for providing contraception care
  • SCOTT: Describe lessons learned about barriers and facilitators for implementation of contraception services in community pharmacies
  • SAVAGE: Describe the pathophysiology and clinical characteristics of perimenopause and menopause
  • SAVAGE: Identify the signs and symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause
  • SAVAGE: Recognize the risks and benefits of hormone therapy (HT) and non-hormonal treatments in managing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms
  • SAVAGE: Name the topical and systemic forms of HT
  • SAVAGE: Explain nonpharmacologic therapy for menopausal symptoms
  • SAVAGE: Determine the desired therapeutic outcomes for a patient taking HT
  • SAVAGE: Explain to patients the treatment options, benefits, risks, and monitoring of HT
  • WILLIAMS: Describe an evidence-based approach to chronic asthma management
  • WILLIAMS: Discuss considerations for rescue therapy for acute asthma symptoms
  • WILLIAMS: Review the role of biologic medications in asthma management
