Healthcare runs on people who care deeply about what they do. Yet across hospitals, clinics, and offices, turnover continues to rise while appreciation often gets lost in the rush. This session explores what truly keeps employees engaged and connected to their work. Participants will learn practical ways to strengthen morale, improve retention, and create a culture where appreciation is part of everyday leadership.

Attendees will learn

• Simple ways to express appreciation that have lasting impact.
• How consistent recognition builds trust, morale, and better patient care.

By attending Keeping the Heart of the Team: Retention and Appreciation in Healthcare offered by South Piedmont Area Health Education Center participants may earn up to 1.0 ACHE Qualifying Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. Please note that you must self-report your attendance of this program in order to receive credit.
